I’m just gonna say it—meditation is HARD.

Trying to quiet my mind and drown out the noise around me to focus on my invisible God and deeply reflect on His words can be a BATTLE some days.

I’ve definitely had seasons where I’ve leaned in and strengthened those muscles... and seasons where it felt like a struggle just to sit still.

But let me tell you—slowing down to meditate on all things JESUS has been one of the greatest game-changers in my life!

My spirit loves feasting on His words, promises, nature—and the more I do it, the more my mind starts to crave it too.

Those moments have brought me back to peace, sparked bold faith in His promises, and helped me see who I am and who He is. It’s where He drops life-altering revelation, chases out fear, and renews my mind in ways that change everything.

Meditation with Jesus has become a resting place for me... and a launching pad.

5 Mistakes Insecure People Make (And How to Overcome Them)

1️⃣ Overthinking Overthinking is a thief. It steals your energy, your joy, and your momentum. Peter sank not because he couldn’t walk on water—but because he doubted. You might wonder if you’re enough—but God equips those He calls. God isn’t complicated. When your mind starts spiraling: pause, breathe, smile, pray, and hand it to God. Then take the next simple step forward. Clarity comes through motion, not overanalysis.

2️⃣ Seeking Approval We all need encouragement and support, but chasing it will wear you out. Your worth isn’t in likes or applause. Galatians 1:10 asks—are you living for their approval or God’s? Rooting yourself in His validation is what empowers you. You’re worth the cross, His prayers, and His love—so receive the Father’s affirmation daily and watch your confidence grow. 💕

3️⃣ Comparison Moses felt inadequate too—and He still changed history. You’re not meant to be them. You’re called to be fully YOU. (And spoiler alert: God’s version of you is the best thing going. 😉) So stay focused and enjoy getting to know who God designed when He made you.

4️⃣ Dwelling on the Past If God’s not replaying your mistakes, why are you? Apologize if needed. Make it right. And then let it go. Psalm 103:12 says your sins are tossed as far as the east is from the west. Grace leads forward—not backward. You’re a new creation. Walk like someone who’s been set free.

But His voice isn’t distant or hard to decode. He wants you to hear Him.

And more often than not—it’s simpler, sweeter, and more personal than you think. ✨

Instead of chasing signs, pause and ask now:

“Holy Spirit, what do You want me to know today about You, about me, about my situation?”

...and listen for the first uplifting thought He gives you.

Trust the “daily bread” He gives you today, and trust Him for more each step of the way.

He’s faithful to answer. 💛 And He loves you extravagantly!
